Remember when I said all the direct trains to Paris from Barcelona were full? Yeah, well the desk attendant told us to take a free public train to a station called Cerbere and connect to Paris from there. Then we got there and there was no connecting trains, so we went to another station on a public train and guess what, no connecting trains! So we booked a train for 5:30 the next morning and walked around to find food because we hadn’t eaten all day. Once we had a little sandwich we found a McDonald’s with wifi and luckily were able to book an Air BNB for 40 euro and got there by 20:00, showered and just went to bed. It was one of the worst days of the trip. Not only were we not able to get to Paris, the public trains have a stop every fifteen minutes like a city bus so it was just a long, uncomfortable day.
